Borrowing from the Museum
Organizations may request to borrow objects from the museum collection by contacting the Director in writing (at 3203 Institute Road, North Vancouver, BC, V7K 3E5) and including the following information:
NVMA staff will evaluate each object’s suitability for the proposed use. Priority is given to North Vancouver organizations, originating organizations, and uses that promote the history and cultures of North Vancouver.
An administration fee (to cover condition reporting, paperwork, basic cleaning, etc.) is charged per object. Additional costs for mount making, conservation, or packing may also be incurred by the borrower. (Fees may be waived upon application.) For additional information, contact NVMA’s Collections Manager.
Borrowing from the Archives
Except in unusual circumstances, archival materials cannot be loaned to organizations or individuals. (Originating organizations may request an exemption from the no lending policy from the Archivist.) However, archival materials can be reproduced upon request.
