Friends Society (Membership)

Welcome!

The Friends of the North Vancouver Museum & Archives Society is a registered charity and membership organization which helps to develop and maintain awareness of our community history, while supporting and raising funds for the North Vancouver Museum & Archives, their programs, exhibits and other activities.

We invite you to join the Friends Society. All membership fees, donations and funds raised through sponsorship, book sales, and community functions are used to support the goals, activities and programs of the Museum & Archives. This financial support helps NVMA to acquire items for the collections, purchase necessary equipment, hire summer students, and provide support for publications that feature North Vancouver’s history, including the Express newsletter, one of the finest community history newsletters you‘ll see anywhere. The Express is researched and produced by Friends Society volunteers and mailed to Society members four times a year.

Membership

Please consider joining the Friends Society and helping support the Museum & Archives. There is also an ongoing need for member volunteers to get involved with NVMA’s programs and to help with public awareness functions throughout the year. Businesses wishing to be good corporate citizens and to support the work of the Museum & Archives can also become members of the Friends Society. Membership Form
