Endowment Fund

The Friends Society’s Endowment Fund is a permanent fund that generates ongoing interest revenue and provides a steady base of operating support to NVMA. As this Fund grows, through the generosity of community-minded donors, the amount of ongoing support provided to NVMA’s operations and programs will also grow. The Endowment Fund was established by agreement with, and is managed by, the North Shore Community Foundation.

By designating a gift to the Friends Society through your estate, you can help ensure that future generations will continue to benefit from the programs, collections, and exhibitions of the North Vancouver Museum & Archives. An estate gift can provide the donor with tax benefits while ensuring the long-term health of the NVMA and its Friends Society. If you are considering making a bequest to the Friends Society, you are encouraged to notify the Society of your intent and to have your estate plans reviewed by a professional financial or legal advisor.
